Sunett® - Approved for various applications worldwide

The food law of most countries classifies high-intensity sweeteners such as Sunett® (acesulfame K) as food additives. Therefore, the use of high-intensity sweeteners must be approved by regulation, which is only granted if safety and need for human consumption can be clearly demonstrated.

Numerous scientific studies and approvals for food, beverage and pharmaceutical products in more than 100 countries worldwide, including the USA, Canada, the member states of the European Union and Japan, prove the safety of Sunett® (acesulfame K).
