On February 5th, Celanese acquired all of the business interests of Vinamul Polymers. The Vinamul Polymers business in North America and Europe will be integrated into the Celanese Emulsions business.

Although the name of the Vinamul Polymers business has changed to Celanese Emulsions, the entire Vinamul Polymers product range will maintain the current trade name and product numbering designations.

In the coming months, we will be working very aggressively to fully integrate the two businesses. For our customers and the markets we serve, this will mean the opportunity to benefit from the combined strengths of the business, including an expanded product portfolio and the ability to access our products and services globally.
