Our employees are the key to our company’s success. A company needs a highly motivated, dedicated and professional team to achieve top performance in a challenging international environment.

Celanese has a systematic employee performance management process that includes regular performance reviews at all levels of the company as well as a talent review process. This global cross-functional and cross-business process is employed to target and analyze the strengths and development needs of our workforce. This analysis is used to plan company sponsored training courses and career moves. Activities to develop employees include job rotation, international assignments, in-house training programs and external training programs.

The company also utilizes an e-learning system to meet important, current training needs in a more flexible manner. Our basic Six Sigma curriculum is offered via Elearning as well as most of our regulatory training.

As a company, we see ourselves as a learning organization that uses different platforms for employee development. Our focus is on development that is targeted and meets the needs of the individual.
