The current Celanese was incorporated in 2005 under the laws of the State of Delaware and is a US-based public company traded on the NYSE under the ticker symbol CE. Based in Dallas, Texas, our operations are primarily located in North America, Europe and Asia and consist of 27 global production facilities, and an additional 8 strategic affiliate production facilities. Net sales totaled $6.8 billion in 2011, with approximately 73% generated outside of North America. As of December 31, 2011, we employed approximately 7,600 people worldwide.
